What Makes It Different

Puzzle, refined.

Six design pillars keep every move meaningful — and every session calm.

A fair shuffle, every time.

Every set of three pieces is guaranteed to contain one small, one tactical, and one heavy block. No streaks of impossible hands — the RNG respects you, every single hand of every single game.

Zero Pay-to-Win

Gems are purely cosmetic — themes, avatars, music. Stars are earned through skilled play. Wallets never beat technique.

Komorebi-Bungu Art

Hand-drawn watercolor, frosted glass, a muted five-accent palette. Designed to soothe, not to shout.

Lifetime Mastery

30+ ranks from Sakura to Komorebi. Every game adds XP — win or lose. Progression never resets; gems and stars drip with each rank-up.

Power Moves

Rotate, Reroll, Bomb. Star-activated, exponentially priced — never trivial, never broken.

Stamp Collection

Wooden chests drop sealed envelopes. Build a vintage stamp album — zero gameplay impact, pure delight.

How to Play

Three moves, infinite calm.

The rules fit on a napkin. The flow lasts for hours.

1

Place a block

Drag any of the three pieces in your tray onto the 8×8 board. Wherever it fits, it stays.

2

Clear a line

Fill any complete row or column and it vanishes — making room for the next move and the next breath.

3

Chase the combo

Clear lines on consecutive moves to ride the multiplier. Score, rank, and a quiet wave of music reward you.

The Idea

A puzzle that respects your time.

Lotus Blocks borrows the joy of fitting pieces from arcade block-puzzles, but strips away the dark patterns: no pity timers, no rubber-banding difficulty, no pay-to-clear-the-board. Just a fair 8×8 grid, a calm aesthetic, and progression you actually own.

Built by a small team of Kotlin Multiplatform engineers in Türkiye, designed around the Japanese concept of komorebi — sunlight filtered through leaves — and bungu, the quiet beauty of premium stationery.

FAQ

Honest answers.

Is there pay-to-win?
No. Gems (the premium currency) only purchase cosmetics — avatars, themes, music, board frames. The Stars used for power moves can only be earned through gameplay. A free-to-play player can reach the full cosmetic catalogue in about four months of casual play.
How are ads handled?
A short interstitial appears after Game Over with a 60-second cooldown floor. Rewarded ads are fully optional — typically for a daily gem bonus or a one-tap stamp revive. Tutorial play is ad-free.
Is it suitable for children?
Lotus Blocks is rated for a general audience. It contains no violence, no chat, no gambling mechanics, and no behavioural advertising aimed at children. Parents should still supervise in-app purchases per platform guidelines.
What accessibility features are included?
Triple-coded visuals (color + shape + label), full screen-reader semantics on iOS and Android, 48dp minimum touch targets, scalable text, and respect for system Reduce Motion / Reduce Transparency preferences.
Which platforms?
iOS and Android, built with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform. The game runs locally — no account required for the core experience.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Core gameplay, progression, and cosmetics work fully offline. An internet connection is only needed for in-app purchases, ad delivery, and analytics.
