Terms of Use

1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to Selfinity, a personal development mobile application developed by Mindoria Studio. By downloading, installing, or using Selfinity, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the "Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the app.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you (the "User") and Mindoria Studio (the "Company," "we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Services

Selfinity is a comprehensive personal development platform that provides the following features:

• Habit Tracking: Monitor and build positive daily habits with streak tracking and reminders
• Mental Wellness Exercises: Access meditation sessions, breathing exercises, and mindfulness activities
• Journaling and Thought Records: Keep private journals, mood logs, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) thought records
• AI-Powered Guidance: Receive personalized insights and motivational messages powered by Google Gemini AI
• Gamification Features: Earn rewards, unlock achievements, and level up through consistent engagement
• Vision Boards: Create visual representations of goals and aspirations
• Sleep and Water Tracking: Monitor sleep quality and daily hydration
• Google Health Connect Integration: Sync step count data (optional)
• Premium Content: Access exclusive features through subscription

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use Selfinity, you must create an account by:

• Providing a valid email address and password, OR
• Signing in with Google OAuth (Sign in with Google)

3.2 Account Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• Users under 18 require parental or guardian consent
• You must provide accurate and truthful information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password

3.3 Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all activities conducted under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, you must immediately notify us at hello@getselfinity.com and change your password.

4. User-Generated Content

4.1 Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create within the app, including:

• Journal entries and thought records
• Notes, affirmations, and gratitude logs
• Vision board images and captions
• Personal goals and habit trackers
• Mood logs and sleep data

4.2 License Grant to Selfinity

By creating content in Selfinity, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display your content for the sole purpose of providing the app's services. This includes:

• Storing your data on our servers (Supabase/AWS)
• Processing your content with AI services (Google Gemini) to generate personalized insights
• Synchronizing your data across your devices

This license terminates when you delete your content or close your account. We do not share your personal content with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

4.3 Content Standards

While your content is private, you agree not to upload content that:

• Violates any laws or regulations
• Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Infringes on others' intellectual property rights
• Contains personal information of others without consent

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Free and Premium Tiers

Selfinity offers both free and premium (paid) subscription tiers:

• Free Tier: Access to basic features with advertisements
• Premium Tier: Ad-free experience with exclusive features (meditation libraries, advanced analytics, unlimited AI insights)

5.2 Subscription Billing

• Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Google Play Billing
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Google Play Store settings
• Canceling a subscription stops future charges but does not refund the current billing period

5.3 Free Trial

We may offer free trials for Premium features. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the regular price.

5.4 Refund Policy

Payments are generally non-refundable except as required by law or Google Play Store policies. For refund requests, please contact Google Play Store support or hello@getselfinity.com within 7 days of purchase.

5.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. If prices increase, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Company-Owned Content

All materials provided within Selfinity—including but not limited to the app design, code, graphics, logos, meditation audio, guided exercises, and educational content—are owned by Mindoria Studio and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Restrictions on Use

You may NOT:

• Copy, distribute, or reproduce app content for commercial purposes
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app's source code
• Remove copyright notices or branding from the app
• Create derivative works based on Selfinity's intellectual property
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the app

7. Prohibited Conduct

When using Selfinity, you agree NOT to:

• Illegal Activities: Use the app for unlawful purposes or to promote illegal activities
• Harassment: Harass, threaten, or impersonate others (if social features are enabled)
• Security Exploits: Attempt to hack, exploit vulnerabilities, or gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our servers
• Malware Distribution: Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Data Mining: Use automated systems to scrape or collect data from the app
• Account Sharing: Share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

8. Third-Party Integrations

8.1 Google Health Connect

If you grant permission, Selfinity can read step count data from Google Health Connect. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings. We do not write or modify Health Connect data.

8.2 Google AI (Gemini API)

Our AI-powered features use Google Gemini API to generate personalized insights. Only anonymized/aggregated data is sent to Google AI—your raw journal entries and personal details are NOT shared.

8.3 Third-Party Links

Selfinity may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of external sites.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 "As Is" Service

Selfinity is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Defects will be corrected immediately
• The app will meet your specific requirements
• Data will never be lost (though we implement backup systems)

9.2 Limitation of Damages

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mindoria Studio shall NOT be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from app use
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
• Technical failures, server downtime, or third-party service interruptions

Our total liability to you for any claims related to Selfinity is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mindoria Studio, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your misuse of the app
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you upload to the app

11. Account Termination

11.1 Termination by User

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings (Settings → Account → Delete Account). Upon deletion:

• Your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
• Active subscriptions will be canceled (no refunds for partial periods)
• Backup data will be removed within 90 days

11.2 Termination by Company

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• We suspect fraudulent activity or payment disputes
• You engage in prohibited conduct
• Your account has been inactive for over 2 years

12. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of Selfinity is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the app, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, we will:

• Update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document
• Notify you via in-app notification for significant changes
• Send an email notification (if applicable)

Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the new Terms, please stop using the app and delete your account.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey
• Jurisdiction: Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Turkey
• Informal Resolution: Before filing a lawsuit, please contact us at hello@getselfinity.com to attempt informal resolution

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mindoria Studio regarding the use of Selfinity. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
